What You'll Do:Data are everywhere in Criteo and so are our Data Analytics teams, providing unique insights on all aspects of our business. While maintaining autonomy of data analysts, we built a company-wide coordination team that actively manages analytical expertise, defines and enforces usage policies as well as drives alignment across teams.
We, at Data Enablement, work so that the expertise is managed in a sustainable manner, across the whole Data community. As such, every of our projects will involve the 3 following ingredients: Data, Tools & Community. The Data Enablement Senior Data Analyst Ops will champion projects for all these priorities. While located in Barcelona, (s)he will work on a global scale, ensuring every office is heard.
As we deploy new products and change some of the very core concepts in existing ones, data management gets more complex. The data projects are cross-teams (cross-departments even), long term and with multiple impacts. To tackle these additional challenges, you would be in charge of:
Lead our Data Engineering & Analytics efforts.
A wide variety of data, products, users, within a culture which values deeply Analytics, leads to a great range of business cases to address. To keep up the pace, it is crucial for the community to be able to produce its own data and/or produce with R&D new sources of truths. In this perspective, you would:
Be ramped to become the Master of our data engineering & analytics stack.Be the point of contact for R&D and Legal teams working on data.Be very encouraged to have regular voyagers with them (i.e., a few weeks embedded in R&D teams).Help to scale our data offer to measure performance: create and roll out ambitious data quality strategies, curation of current datasets, etc.Meet the stakeholders in the different departments and offices, gather and understand their needs.Ensure they still meet the Sales and Analytics communities' needs throughout the time.Create and scale tools/products within a skilled team and community.
Criteo has a strong doer culture; we regularly create and are encouraged to create new tools to answer the needs of our internal and external clients. In this (Python amongst others) context, you would:
Be trained by an experienced and talented team.Streamline and automate governance tasks for at scale effects for a wide variety of purposes: measure our efficiency, increase our productivity, etc.Own products by either leading the development of new features on existing automation tools and innovate with new ones.Be the voice of AMERICAS data people.
Americas, APAC and EMEA, the Data Community is one upon which the sun never sets. Being AMERICAS based, to help them with their daily (and diverse) challenges, you'll take part in:
Communicating and helping spread the news about bad/best practices.When needed, delivering short and specific trainings on the project you are part of.Working in a cross-team & cross-departments environment.Who You Are:You have at least 2-4 years' experience in a data focused role with technical (Tableau and Vertica ideally) and analytical components (BI Consultant, Data Analyst, BI Developer, Data Engineer, etc.).You are fluent in English.You are passionate about business intelligence, data visualization, and the power of analytics.Ideally, you have good technical expertise: SQL, R, Python and other programming languages. Vertica and Tableau knowledge is a big plus.You can demonstrate your end to end problem-solving ability.You are able to present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.You are versatile, self-driven, detail-oriented and hands-on.You are a team player, loving to work for the betterment of a community.We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. The US base salary pay range for this position per year is:
$100,000 - $118,000
