Barcelona, Spain Responsibilities Development of RF acoustic BAW/SAW filters in the range of up to 6 GHz for 4G/5G applicationsApplying RF co-design techniques considering other RF components like PAs, LNAs and switchesIntegration into RF front end modules in close cooperation with larger product design teamsAcoustic and electromagnetic (EM) simulations and optimizationsDevice characterization and diagnostics using the latest state of the art in RF test equipmentContinuous improvement of design flows, methods, and cycle times.Responsibility for cutting-edge device performance in major handset applicationsCollaboration with an international team at multiple locationsRequired Qualification MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on RFBackground in standard RF design techniques, RF measurements and characterizationExperience in SAW or BAW design, MEMS design or RF module designExtensive experience designing with HFSS, AWR, ADS, or similar toolsUnderstanding of microelectronic fabrication and high-volume manufacturing is a plusExcellent communication and presentation skillsBe able to work independently, but also in larger teamsWe are Qorvo.
