As a Specialist Finance Planning and Control, you'll ensure the commercial decisions are taken in an efficient way, aligned with Strategic Guidelines, Budget and Commercial targets.
Key Accountabilities
Planning
Coordinate information and results with different areas (Business Unit, Financial Planning, …).
Ensure commercial inputs received from commercial/operational managers are consistent, ambitious, well-balanced, and aligned with strategy.
Support business unit in financial related issues.
Identify key opportunities to maximise efficiency of the business decisions.
External reporting to Group following established deadlines.
Financial Control
Explain on a weekly/monthly basis the variations in the actuals vs different scenarios (previous year, forecast,…) with an analytical view and adding value to the business.
Assess financial impact of commercial/project propositions.
Proactively address any financial issue that may affect the ongoing business.
Execute and support the month-end closing process in Enterprise Business Unit.
Produce biweekly P&L estimations and identify any potential risks to achieve Budget targets.
Ensure accurate and timely information to the business.
Point of contact between finance and business to ensure accuracy.
Decision Support
Provide insightful and added value analysis to drive business objectives.
Provide regular & ad-hoc Financial & Business analysis to support the management team.
Support business decisions providing financial management information.
Provide actionable recommendations to the business unit Managers.
Advise on opportunities and identify risks that may be associated with business decisions.
Who you are
3+ years experience in financial planning, control and decision support, preferably in a commercial environment.
Fluent in English.
High level of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Office suite.
Experience in the telco industry is a plus.
SAP knowledge desirable (MM, CO, FI).
Solid professional background.
Proven analytical skills in a commercial environment.
Sophisticated planning and forecasting modelling.
