- Please apply with an English CVWe are looking for aBusiness Unit Manger Food IngredientsYou and your Team will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry- area Spain- the position will be office based Madrid or Barcelona: home office is possible- our client is an international Ingredients distributor- you have at least 5 years sales experience of Food Ingredient/Not FMCG products- you have experience in working for distributor- The job holder primarily oversees the expansion of business with existing customers, as well as the identification and exploration of new markets and customers in the food market in Spain.Tasks- Elaboration and implementation of a commercial policy- Business analysis by industry/territory to deliver a commercial strategy- Monitoring of targets by industry/territory- Negotiation of contracts with customers and suppliers- Preparation and presentation of annual budget- Product Managers and Sales Team leadership.- Monitoring the team performance- Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.- Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms, grains, flours, flakes... will be an asset.- Customer & supplier relationship management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.- Portfolio management: Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product/solution offerings.- Market / Competition: Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes and identify new opportunities.Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and/or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.- Negotiation with suppliers- Elaboration and implementation of a commercial policy- Business analysis by industry/territory to deliver a commercial strategy- Monitoring of targets by industry/territory- Negotiation of contracts with customers and suppliers- Preparation and presentation of annual budget- Product Managers and Sales Team leadership.- Monitoring the team performanceRequirements-Food technology or similar degree-Knowledge in Marketing and Sales Management-IFS broker knowledge-Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development-exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,-high willingness to travel-very organized, reliable, positive thinking-Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have-you have a valid driving license Must have-You have experience with Team Leadin-Negotiation and leadership skills-Commercial skills-Please apply with an English CV and Cover Letter-Please use bullet points
