Overview
This new exciting opportunity has been opened to sell a new software solution IDEATE acquired by Graitec for Architects and Engineers that improves our customers' productivity.
The person in this role will report to the Graitec Software Sales Director and will closely collaborate, both in-person and online, with the Account Managers, solution sales team, and technical teams.
The primary responsibility is to expand the Ideate Software business through the cultivation, sales, and management of strategic AEC companies; both prospects and named existing Ideate Software customers.
This position is full-time and is based in Hannover or can be remote-based, requiring travel to customer locations and/or marketing events and Hannover for team meetings.
Fluency in German and English is required as our teams are working with peers across the globe to best serve our customers.
Working with Account Managers to define the target market, customers, and individuals within an account. Agree on an Account Plan and execute.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone with a successful sales track record, year-over-year sales success, an independent self-starter, hardworking, and a creative thinker. Previous software sales and/or "third-party" software sales experience is strongly desired. This position involves significant customer prospecting and sales interaction as well as Autodesk Revit and Building Information Model understanding. Must be able to work comfortably in a virtual team environment.
Sales and Presentation Skill Requirements:
Effective selling skills – Business and Financial Acumen.
You will be responsible for making and collaborating on sales plans and for delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Heavy communication notes via CRM.
Online sales presentation expertise - Excellence in written and verbal communication.
You will extend our relationships within the target organizations, understand prospect and client needs, workflows, and the decision processes.
Fluency in both German / Spanish & English required.
Collaboration skills with Account Managers.
Technical Skill Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Revit or other Building Information Modeling software.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM background a plus.
Command of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Strong user of LinkedIn / Sales Navigator.

Overall – this is new business acquisition & development, quota-targeted direct sales.
