In a pre-sales context, the Solution Manager delivers the solution design including costing and migration approach for parts or overall solution on sales unit demand.
He/she manages all contributors to the solution development (Solution Architect, Financial Architect, etc.), designs the solution in dimensions of business, technology, services, resources, timeline, costs, and end-to-end value add for the customer.
Experience Required Experience in complex bids, solution design, pricing, added value identification, and key selling points. Supports the proposal team and focuses on infrastructure. Understanding of bidding and delivery approval processes during the bid phase. Designs competitive and sustainable end-to-end solutions based on our standard portfolio and in coordination with the relevant actors in the company and third parties (partners). Creates proposal deliverables, solution costing and pricing models, and overall business cases associated with the designed solution. Leads proposal development processes during the bidding phase, together with other teams specialized in architecture, operation, support, risks, legal, financial, etc. Explains and defends the overall deal at senior levels, with a solid view on our value proposition, risks, and benefits. IT Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration Middleware management: database, web service Virtualization: VMs, Kubernetes Data Center LAN/WAN - SDWAN Network access: VPN, IPSec Network security. Experience required: At least 5 years in Information Technology Managed Services and Solutions. At least 3 years in presales in an international environment, customer-oriented, ensuring a clear understanding of their business priorities and needs. Business English required
