Geotab is seeking a Principal Data Scientist with previous experience in Geospatial related projects to actively work on the designing of data modeling processes, as well as to actively contributing to broad technical strategies, decisions and processes that impact the delivery of analytical solutions.What you'll do:As a Principal Data Scientist you will be influencing and delivering projects with organizational impact and priority, acting as a technical lead and mentor for the department as well as working hands on different projects. This role requires collaborating and building relationships with other data scientists, developers at all levels, contributing towards the development of the department's roadmap.How you'll make an impact:Regularly communicate and work with senior management stakeholders and product managers to ensure that the product and technical roadmap aligns with Geotab's data capabilities and potential and shape priorities.Assist executive management in developing and evaluating the long-range impact of new programs and strategies affecting the Data and Analytics Department.Collaborate and share technical knowledge across teams to influence Geotab's ability to meet cross-functional company goals and achieve larger technical ambitions
