Producers are the owners of holding the vision and having the answer to "What are we doing?" and "Why are we doing it?" A Producer at Maxis works daily leading a team, collaborating with multidisciplinary team-members to decide goals, align and agree on the priorities of the work. Our Producers also maintain a culture of regular reviews, always playing and gathering feedback for the game we're making, whilst keeping a big-picture view of how we will meet our product goals.What you will do as a Lead Producer:- You are the Product Owner for a cross functional team and will set the vision and goals for what we create.- You will set priorities and assess quality and market-fit of the product.- You are the guardian of the player promise and will collaborate with partners in Design, Marketing, Brand and Analytics to create products that surprise and delight our players.- Engage with metrics and respond to insights about our audience and market opportunities to meet our business goals.- Your partner in crime will be the Lead Development Director, who is the Project Manager for the pack. Your partnership sets the foundation for success.- You will be leading a diverse team across different time zones and locations.- You will report to the Senior Development Director.Qualifications:- 5+ years working as a Producer, with experience leading game development teams.- The ability to talk across all levels of an organization.- The ability to share the vision of the project to your team and bring them along for the journey
