Working with various IT and business, the IT Infrastructure Engineer Communications Europe works providing support in mail, mobile devices, VoIP Infrastructure, Teams Audio / Video and Rooms and Teams devices, O365 user lifecycle. This person will report to the ITS Communications Manager for Europe.Responsibilities:Works on European implementation and upgrade projects in the IT Communications area. Coordinates these projects with IT colleagues.Presents project status and results to colleagues and middle management.Trains colleagues in new technologies that are implemented by the European Communications team.Elaborates comprehensive documentation & procedures for both colleague IT engineers as end-users.Identifies issues throughout the IT team's responsibility area and recommends mitigating measures.Works on the second support level having direct interaction with international end-users.Solves complex technical and organizational problems.Supports the Communications team by creating operating procedures and coaching other team members.Identifies issues throughout the IT team's responsibility area and recommends mitigating measures.Continuously strives to improve the IT team effectiveness by recommending policies and process modifications.Works under minimal supervision, enjoys working in a real multicultural and diverse organization, and manages customer relationships to achieve the best results.Maintains a good working relationship with all service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure that services received meet expected requirements.Job requirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in IT (or equivalent through experience).Professional Experience:5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure with a focus on support in large client environments.Good knowledge of Mail and SMTP standards.Good knowledge of Teams phone system. Valuable also to have SBC knowledge.Good knowledge of Cloud Contact Centers. Valuable knowledge in Luware.Knowledge and experience with AD, O365 administration (Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, Azure AD), and PowerShell scripting.Is able to lead international projects, to manage and align activities between all project members and stakeholders and to maintain deadlines and planning while working on several projects and can develop a personal work planning.Experience working in international teams.Is able to handle unexpected high priority workloads and to plan accordingly
