About this opportunity The Align Predictability Optimization Team is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our team. The team focuses on improving clinical situations while wearing Invisalign aligners and retainers, optimizing treatment plans and implementing the algorithm in microservices. The team's work is related to 3D modelling, developing complex ML and Neural network algorithms, and creating integration with other apps. You will Be a part of a team to develop and support complex solutions (Amazon AWS, PyTest and etc.) Improve your technical skills in test design and test automationSolve interesting and challenging tasksIn this role, you will… Be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of methods to test and troubleshoot newly developed software applicationsBe involved in the test strategy, estimate testing scope, and contribute into planning for project/feature/releaseSupport test automation and test documentation, creating itTake part in reviewing and verifying clinical and technical requirementsWrite test cases and various test scenariosParticipate in release preparation few times a year: software verification, maintenance of test coverage, troubleshooting and production supportCollaborate with other development and quality assurance teams within the companyIdentify and report bugsPrepare dataset to verify features if neededProvide feature monitoring: setup alerts, create dashboards, analyze production statisticsParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goalsIn this role, you'll need … 3+ years hand on experience in test automation or development in Python1+ previous experience as manual QA Engineer / Deep knowledge main QA approaches and practicesEducation (BS/MS) in Math, Physics, Computer Science or EngineeringExperience using Git and JIRAUpper-Intermediate (and higher) English levelDesired: Quickly reaction and performance for a deep review of a problemAgility approach at work process and desire to investigate new facets of testingOpen-minded communication and well-structured organized skills2+ previous experience with SQL (basic selects/inserts queries)Familiarity with breadth of test types including Integration testing, System Testing, Functional testing, API/Web service testing, Regression testing, performance testing, load and stress testingExperience of automating functional, regression and integration testing using industry standard tools and frameworks preferredUnderstanding of Test management tools (e.g. TM4J)Familiarity with feature-driven and test-driven test methodologiesFamiliarity with iterative software development life cyclesFamiliarity with the electron document system and work with documentationSound like a good fit?
