The Qlik Learning DevOps Engineer Role
This position requires a highly technical resource in Qlik Talend Cloud whose primary responsibilities will be developing engaging and hands-on instructor-led and self-paced curricula. This candidate must have relevant, practical hands-on experience from the field.
Join Qlik as a Software Engineer with a focus on DevOps in our Learning Platforms team, where you will play a crucial role in developing our GCP platform to deliver on-demand learning environments that support our various internal and external facing learning products.

Here's how you'll be making an impact:
CI/CD Development: Develop robust CI/CD solutions for our SaaS product in an AWS environment, streamlining the development and deployment processes.
Software development: Develop the code and maintain the Qlik's internal platform-engineering tool owned by the team.
Environment Management: Maintain a 'production-like' environment for service development and QA teams, ensuring high-quality testing and rapid feature delivery.
Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development and SRE teams to provide stable deployment solutions, supporting the R&D organization with expert guidance on our toolset.
Problem Solving: Efficiently and professionally solve production problems, ensuring smooth and reliable operations for our SaaS services.
We're looking for a teammate with:
A strong technical resource with a background in Business Intelligence, proficient in Qlik Talend Cloud, Qlik Sense and have some familiarity with QlikView.
Knowledgeable and have hands-on experience with a range of Business Intelligence tools.
Knowledgeable of course development and lab tools such as Evolve (or similar eLearning tools) and Google Cloud Platform (or similar lab environment tool).
Experienced in writing and editing training course materials, white papers, presentations and/or analysis documents.
Experienced in developing video scripts and storyboards.
Experienced in developing micro-learning resources for short just-in-time learning experiences.
Detail oriented and consistent.
A self-starter who is eager to learn and keep updated on relevant technology changes.
Able to multi-task and execute in short and/or compressed timelines.
You will thrive if you have:
GCP skills & experience with CloudRun, Compute Engine, GCP API.
GCP networking skills including VPC network and load-balancing.
Deep knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes containerization & deployment.
Scripting and programming experience with JavaScript, React, PHP, Terraform.
Experience with process automation and scripting.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Worked in a global company with diverse cultures.
