We are expanding our teams in the space sector to take on GNSS projects.WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?GMV is deeply involved in the definition of the new algorithms for the Second Generation Galileo System.
These state-of-the-art algorithms will run operationally on a platform based on the latest technologies, such as Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
The development and preparation of this platform is done following the SAFe framework, in close collaboration with the end customer.In this great opportunity you will join our team in Madrid and participate in the:Development and maintenance of the common services shared by the whole system.Maintaining and improving the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment.Maintaining and updating the documentation affecting the team, delivered to the customer as part of the project milestones.Supporting the Continuous Deployment of the system, based on cloud-native technologies (i.E.
Kubernetes).Coordination of agile SAFe ceremonies (e.G.
planning, review, retro, etc.)
of the team, as well as dependencies between the infra team and other teams.Participate in SAFe ceremonies representing the team together with the product owner.WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?For this position, we are looking for an experienced engineer with leadership skills to contribute to the development of this platform, including Scrum Master activities.
We need you to have:Medium/advanced knowledge of Python, C++ and C.Basic knowledge of databases (e.G.
PostgreSQL).Knowledge of cloud-based environments based on Kubernetes and container-based microservices.Experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment) environments and pipelines.Experience working with agile methodology.WHAT DO WE OFFER?Hybrid working model and 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside your usual geographical area.
