Koh Young Technology is a global leading 3D vision-based industrial robotic inspection device research, development, and manufacturing company. This position is for the C++ Software Design Engineer.
We are looking for a person with strong skills in developing C++ software. The candidate will be a member of the software team for the medical software platform and will collaborate with expert software engineers to develop the software platform for new medical hardware products. The role involves working on the common software architecture developed by Koh Young and designing and implementing various subsystems of medical software modules.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a common software platform.Design a large-scale code build system that can produce multiple software products.Document concepts and designs for the larger engineering group.Train other specialized engineering groups.Communicate and gather requirements from engineering groups, analyze, and design new solutions for the platform.Keep the software product design, implementation, and testing processes efficient.Deliver integrated software solutions on schedule for time to market.QualificationsMSCS, MSSE, or BSCS with 3+ years of experience.More than 5 years of experience in Linux or Windows C++ software development for Senior Software Engineers, and less than 3 years for Junior Software Engineers.Strong programming skills in C++ with STL for Linux software.Familiarity with Shell, Perl, and Python scripting.Experience in designing large-scale source code build systems.Experience in software integration and common architecture design.Familiarity with the software life cycle or experience in at least one full cycle of software product development.Familiarity with design, testing, and production considerations.Very good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset towards all internal engineering groups.Experience and knowledge of robotics and motion control systems is a plus.Additional SkillsetsExperience in motion or robot control domains.Experience in image acquisition systems, including camera, light, and trigger control.Capability of reading electronic schematics or experience in digital circuit design.
