For more information, visit www.Certinia.Com.THE ROLE As a Security Engineer in the Certinia Information Security team, you'll work in a dynamic environment as part of a small team with a broad spectrum of focus areas which range from defining security requirements and protocols to custom development of tooling to support our Information Security program.This position requires someone who has great interpersonal skills, to work with many different departments within the company including IT, Engineering, Support, HR, Legal, Consulting, Product Management, Marketing, etc., but also comes from a highly technical background, has a passion for Security and brings a willingness to continuously improve the state of security within the company.WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE Your responsibilities will cover two major disciplines: Product Security and Information Security.The Product Security discipline This side of the role entails helping to secure every stage of the development lifecycle in a diverse and dynamic environment. Tasks within Product Security may include:Defining security-specific roadmapSecurity requirements gatheringImplementation of security tooling, or development of custom toolsDeveloping documenting policies & best practicesDesign reviewsThreat modellingPenetration testingMetrics & reportingOther similar assignmentsThe Information Security discipline Support the broader Information Security team on more overarching projects which span beyond the scope of development. This will encompass:Securing critical SaaS and AWS-based toolingPerforming forensic investigations of security incidentsTriaging responsible disclosure reports in our public bug bounty program on BugCrowdMonitoring and maturing our Security information and event management (SIEM) solutionDeveloping and driving tabletops with other key departments in Incident Response (IR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) scenariosOrchestrating external penetration testing engagementsDeveloping targeted phishing simulationsOther similar assignments
