As a Social Impact Analyst, Supplier Engagement & Strategy for the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Social Impact (SI) team you will be responsible for implementing initiatives that helps the team drive the GPO Social Impact Strategy in the communities we and our supplier base operate. This person will need to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders within and outside GPO to drive engagement strategies with our supplier base (+18k) to ensure suppliers' compliance with Amazon Policies, government regulations and reporting mechanisms.
The role scope includes supporting deployment of GPO Social Impact supplier engagement strategy to measure and report suppliers social and economic contribution to local communities, implementation of control and reporting mechanisms for suppliers compliance to all applicable internal policies, process & rules and government regulations, the creation of a comprehensive set of Social Impact guidelines and best practices for GPO suppliers, suppliers recognition through a Procurement for Good Supplier Award and tracking and reporting of performance on specific Social Impact KPIs.
The person in this role will need to partner with WW Sustainability, WW Ops Sustainability, Public Relations Economic & Community Impact (PR ECI) teams to support the deployment of GPO Social Impact Strategy globally, including collaboration with GPO Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SD&I), Global Procurement Sustainability (GPS), Global Procurement Category (GPC), Site Procurement Operations (SPO) legal and finance teams.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in program management, communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. The right candidate is data-driven and comfortable with writing and executing on various types of communications and working effectively in a fast-paced, and under high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience supporting high impact programs and working effectively across a number of stakeholders.


Key job responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure social impact is integrated into procurement practices and supplier relationship management.
- Implement control and reporting mechanisms for compliance to all applicable internal policies, process & rules and government regulations related to impact on Affected Communities.
- Facilitate implementation of mechanisms to Measure, track and report suppliers economic social & economic contribution to local communities while feeding hyperlocal community impact reports in partnership with SD&I and PR ECI teams.
- Assist the team in formulating a comprehensive suite of Social Impact guidelines and best practices tailored for the GPO supplier base.
- Execute team's engagement and recognition strategy for suppliers through a Procurement for Good Supplier Award.
- Support social impact integration within standard procurement processes, policy and culture.
- Track, report and communicate GPO Social Impact initiatives at global level

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Barcelona, B, ESP | Madrid, M, ESP
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in procurement, non-profit organizations, purpose-led procurement function or similar
- Experience and proficiency in project management
- Basic knowledge of data collection and analysis methods
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor and/or Master in Social Impact, Community Impact, Corporate Social responsibility or Sustainable Development.
- Outstanding communications skills – written and verbal
