Role description: Arcadis is looking for a Trainee Consultant to join our Engineering team in Madrid, ES during this summer. This position will suit a highly motivated Consultant to consolidate their career within the leading global Design & Consultancy firm for natural and built assets, joining a successful team with exceptional Multinational clients.
Role accountabilities: As a member of our Smart Buildings (MEP) team, the tasks to be performed include:
Technical Due Diligence audits: technical review of installation projects, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation for all types of assets (industrial, residential, tertiary); analysing regulatory compliance, design and operating conditions, and useful life of equipment.Identification of potential risks and limitations in the purchase and sale, as well as estimation of Capex of future investment for property management.Preparation of improvement/optimisation proposals. Assistance to the client during the transaction process.MEP support in Project Monitoring. Preparation of feasibility reports for future projects or projects in execution, monthly monitoring reports, technical visits for supervision during the development of the works, and support to the client during the entire construction process.Support in different tasks related to the Business Advisory department. The main thing: willingness to learn and develop the first steps in the world of technical consultancy. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (ongoing)Full professional English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.Timely delivery, consistency, and quality of deliverable to team and client expectations, in compliance with our business quality systems.Engagement with and adoption of the Arcadis Way and Arcadis core values.
