Could you be the full-time R&D Engineer for test benches in Barcelona we're looking for?
Your future roleYou'll propose, develop, and execute brake test benches for new and existing trains; integrating those systems in Alstom's Cloud Services and monitoring systems. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management), guaranteeing together with suppliers and integrators the performance of brake test benches (sizing calculations, equipment choice) and much more.
You'll specifically take care of:
Brakes documentation and customer requirements analysisSpecification generationTest protocol generation to be performed by the test benchTechnical discussion with suppliersSuppliers follow-upSupport on troubleshootingFunctional validation of the test benchSupport on test bench CE certification and generation of the required documentationTest bench start-up and training to be provided on customer siteMonitoring and collaboration in already-developed R&D programsConstant technological vision and knowledge of competitorsDesign for Quality milestones and progress follow-up (manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and warranty)Proposes and drives improvement action plansGuarantees Return of Experience of the deployments to new projects and tendersDisseminates the results of the program within the different stakeholders of the company (Operations, Regions)Proposes new R&D initiatives, gathering ideas from inside and outside of the companyControl of the test procedure and the mechanical elements on the test benchDefinition of the architecture to perform the testing of the braking systemRoadmap on product developmentCE certification processProper execution of validation plansAll about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
