Job Description Summary: Manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.
Impacts departmental operations and is responsible for planning/execution.
The role has some autonomy but is focused on the execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.Roles and Responsibilities:Define the transport plan and select carriers.
Organize the load of the carrier.
Manage suppliers through final delivery.Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.Understand key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish own work.Integrate work of own team with other teams and contribute to the area.Use judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.Utilize prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.Access technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent.
Provides informal guidance to new team members.Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for Customs clearance (in case of cross EU-borders shipments).Required Qualifications:This role requires advanced experience in Logistics Transport.Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).EU Work Permit.Additional Information:Relocation Assistance Provided: No #J-18808-Ljbffr
