We are looking for a strategic and proactive individual for the position as ervice Development Manager. As a Service Development Manager for the PSD Division within the Iberia customer center's aftermarket and service operations, your primary mission is to demonstrate excellence in executing and overseeing the development, innovation, and financial management of parts and service offerings. This involves implementing robust processes and tools to identify and rectify deficiencies and irregularities, ensuring the smooth achievement of established financial, operational, and Human Resources objectives. You will also play a key role in the implementation of the M3 ERP system.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be to: Strategic Development and Enhancement:
• Contract Management Model:
o Spearhead the creation, implementation, supervision, coordination, and continuous improvement of processes and procedures associated with the Contract Management Model, with active involvement of internal clients.
• Information Systems:
o Implement information systems and incentives to ensure the availability of timely and reliable reports and data, fostering enhanced management practices. Develop and use PowerBI.
• Training Plan:
o Design and implement a comprehensive training plan for administrative and supervisory staff, ensuring optimal execution of all processes and procedures at an Iberia CC level.
• KPIs Monitoring:
o Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to productivity and maintenance, engaging in periodic discussions and agreements on improvement plans with clients.
 
Operational and Financial Excellence:
• Invoicing and Cost Control:
o Ensure precise management of invoicing and cost control across Service and Marketing, meticulously aligning with division goals.
• Work in Progress and Inventory Control:
o Provide strategic oversight to Work in Progress, Inventory Control, and Stock Management to guarantee alignment with operational objectives.
• Operational Efficiency:
o Monitor and optimize inventory levels, service hours, and the utilization of technicians to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Service Variance Analysis:
o Conduct thorough analysis of service variance and proactively implement strategies for improvement, ensuring continuous enhancement of operational and financial performance.
 
Product and Service Management & Innovation:
• Service Offerings and Delivery Methods:
o Drive innovation in service offerings and delivery methods, including parts and components.
• Technology Implementation:
o Implement new technologies and systems to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• M3 ERP Implementation:
o Play a key role in the implementation and administration of the M3 ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
• Product Offerings and Promotions:
o Oversee and promote PSD products including spare parts, components, training, and recommended parts lists in coordination with advisors.
• Supplier and Inventory Management:
o Manage supplier purchases, customer returns, and non-conformance issues.
o Review orders and backorders, manage fleet coordination, and ensure proper use of Salesforce and service ERP systems.
 
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Monthly Reports:
o Prepare and analyze end-of-month reports, including hours, service activity, local reports, workshop performance, KPIs, deferred revenues, and service variance.
Experience and requirements: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in equivalent positions.
• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent, with proven management and analysis skills.
• Expertise in contract management and management control.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities. Self-driven.
• Proficiency in advanced computer tools, including MS Office package and accounting systems/ERP.
• Knowledge of similar markets and competitors, spanning products, equipment, and spare parts.
• Willingness and availability for national and international travel and fieldwork.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong social communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or both.
