.Our Team :Vista is the go-to partner for millions of small businesses who need to promote themselves effectively in the modern age.With tools that empower brands to create their unique identity and expert design support when they need inspiration, we provide a range of digital and print services at every stage of their journey.To help customers bring their visions to life, we need UX professionals skilled at crafting the right features and experiences - that's where you come in.What You Will Do :As a mixed methods user researcher in DIY Division, you'll report into a Principal UX Researcher embedded within the same area, and you will operate within the following framework :Research Specialist : leading your own researchYou'll be responsible for working closely with product teams and the Principal User Researcher to plan and run research projects end-to-end, supporting a human-centered design process to create high-quality user experiences.This includes defining clear problem statements, framing project goals and research questions, scoping and selecting the appropriate methods and tools, supporting in recruitment, running research activities, analyzing data, and sharing findings.Coach / Trainer : supporting research being done by othersYou'll also be supporting product teams and team members (primarily in Product Management and Design) who are conducting their own research.1 to 1 supports: You'll assist partners evaluating usability risks by conducting research at the micro level.1 to many supports: You'll be developing and delivering trainings, building and improving templates for the research process, enabling continuous discovery.Advisor : leveraging insights and a growing knowledge base to advise decision-makingFinally, you'll be leveraging multidisciplinary insights about users to inform prioritization and planning with your product teams.What You BringAs a Research Specialist :A keen understanding of when to leverage generative vs. evaluative research.The capability to apply mixed methods (qual and quant) to develop a better understanding of customers and identify potential risks.Strong skills in data analysis and quantitative research methods.Expertise in communicating compelling research findings with an emphasis on storytelling through data.As a Coach / Trainer :A strong willingness to mentor and guide Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.Strong collaboration and communication skills.The ability to bring structure and shared understanding to discovery efforts.A passion for research democratization and enablement.As an Advisor :An eagerness to accumulate deep product knowledge while considering the customer's experience.Ability to synthesize patterns across primary research and other data sources.A willingness to partner with other insights teams.Your Qualifications :2+ years experience in applied product research.Bachelors or advanced degree in human behavior-related fields
