As a Talent Sourcer in our Global Talent Acquisition team, you will own engaging passive candidates across volume and niche hiring. This role is more than simple sourcing; you should be able to talk about the Microsoft strategy and articulate career opportunities that engage passive talent. You must thrive in the hunt and be focused on networking closely within the industry to identify the right talent and companies to target. You'll cover the basics of talent sourcing, but more importantly, leverage your business knowledge to develop meaningful multi-channel sourcing strategies which promote direct methods to identify, evaluate, and pipeline exceptional candidates for Microsoft.Microsoft's Global Talent Acquisition team exists to attract, engage, assess and hire the best Talent. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesDrive external hiring activity and be a subject expert for sourcing strategies within your target skillsets.Directly partner with business leaders and internal recruiters in defining and maintaining core and pipelines.Craft custom outreach and meaningful candidate engagement.Work with teams to engage the business early in the recruiting cycle, always promote diverse hires and candidates directly from our key competitors.Own candidate relationships all the way to the point of an in-person interview and will be tightly integrated into the feedback process during the interview process.Effectively screen and assess talent ensuring we bring forward the best candidates including cultural & competency fit.Research and gather market intelligence. Map our competitors, deliver data driven insight and help our hiring managers understand the external market and shape requirements.QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsTalent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to the role.OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to the role.Skilled in sourcing and search tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean search, social media, local sourcing channels and alternative search techniques).Additional or Preferred QualificationsKnowledge and experience hiring across EMEA.Engineering, Technical or Sales recruitment experience is preferred for this role.A data-driven approach to Talent Sourcing, using insights and competitor analysis to support business on their hiring decision.Knowledgeable in Talent Pipelines; a proactive talent supply strategy in anticipation of filling critical and recurrent positions.Broad recruiting background, preferably pan European and languages help (but are not essential), strong English language required.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
