Senior Store ManagerAs a Senior Store Manager of Onitsuka Tiger in Barcelona, you'll bring the team, the brand, and the store results to a higher level. You play an essential role and care for the store. You manage a team of +10 unique talents. This is a mission-critical role in growing the Onitsuka Tiger brand to become the most iconic Japanese high fashion lifestyle brand throughout the European region.
As an experienced Senior Store Manager, you work in close collaboration with creative, cross-functional, and growing teams within the EMEA Onitsuka Tiger in The Netherlands, and the global Onitsuka Tiger headquarters in Japan. Daily, you are in direct contact with the Commercial manager and HR. Together with the whole team, we bring an already profitable and sustainable business to the next level.

How you'll help usWe're looking for a seasoned Store Manager who is used to working in the premium retail industry and is willing to develop the team and support the expansion of the Brand within the Spanish Market by overseeing the stores.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead in maximizing sales and profitability through the effective management of store operations and excellent customer service.Show solid commercial awareness and implement initiatives to drive sales performance.Understand local market trends and competition and communicate this information to the line manager.Understand and improve store performance by analysis of reports and KPIs such as conversion rate, units per transaction, and average transaction value.Monitor all shop overheads, ensuring budgets are adhered to maximize shop profitability.Manage the inventory count cycles from the retail channels, lead stock takes, identifying opportunities to reduce shrinkage and improve the investigative procedure.Support field teams in monitoring stock in transit and liaise with internal departments to develop robust processes that contribute to reducing aged stock in transit and stock losses.Advise the business as to the impact of any policies, procedures, or initiatives on various retail channels.Support the implementation of any new policies, procedures, or initiatives into the retail channels, mitigating risk and optimizing efficiencies.Identify operational inefficiencies across departments and deliver alternative solutions to maximize efficiency.Develop and implement retail operations-related training to store teams.Support field leadership and finance on the target phasing processes, ensuring accurate reporting by the agreed timelines.Support any other tasks that may be necessary and requested.Customer Service and Selling StandardsGive clear direction, advice, support, and guidance to staff, focusing on delivering the required customer service and sales standards.Oversee all shop administration ensuring all head office instructions are actioned and staff fully advised of product changes and developments as necessary.Product Presentation and MerchandisingGive staff clear training, direction, advice, support, and guidance, focusing on delivering the required standards.Ensure operational excellence is achieved in the back-of-house areas and that the store achieves compliance with policy, procedure, and legal requirements.Recruitment and Team DevelopmentMaximize the in-store use of staffing budgets, ensuring best practices regarding staffing levels and rotas.Recruit, train, and develop a team of talented individuals, ensuring staff is motivated to see the store succeed.Minimize staff turnover by practicing the retention skills necessary to build a high-performing team.Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.What we're looking forExtensive experience as Store Manager, Department Manager, District Manager, or Area Manager.Experience with leading teams.Living in Barcelona.Fluent English speaker.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven track record in achieving results.Confident and empathetic personality with the drive to share success as one team.Experience with solving complicated Employee Relations cases.Extensive experience in leading a top level of customer service in a brand retailer.Intuitive communication skills, respectful, and able to inspire and motivate.Ability to multitask.You could be the right person for this role regardless of age, nationality, religious beliefs, or gender identification.
