.Position: SAP HCM PY ConsultantLocation : Spain, PortugalYour candidacy is currently being considered for a requisition for an Alight Inc group company. As you may be aware, Alight has announced intent to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned to the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital ('Divested Group'). In addition, if you are made an offer of employment, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with the Divested Group company employment policies.Key Responsibilities:Integrated into the AMS department and under the supervision of an AMS Team Manager, the overall responsibility of Senior SAP HCM PY Consultant is to support our outsourced SAP customers:Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activitiesManage simple tickets after having received functional analysis and guidance / coaching on the technical way to implement itGenerate easy-to-maintain bug free code and customizing respecting Alight best practicesOperate required system tests using either provided or self generated test data, to ensure the applications/developments meet the agreed specificationsProvide documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handledManage personal daily priorities and assigned tickets, and ensure that his deadlines are met. Regularly report on status and progress to the Team ManagerMaintain internal and external contact and communication channels at appropriate level.
