The Role


The Senior Quality Manager Energy Storage reports into the Global VP of Quality Management. They play a pivotal role in overseeing supplier quality management for crucial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) components. This involves enhancing and defining supply contracts for BESS and/or key components and skillfully negotiating technical specifications, production QA scope, and warranty terms. The responsibilities of Senior Quality Manager Energy Storage extend to the continuous refinement of the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for BESS, actively managing claims on defects, and collaborating with independent expert parties for production QA and root cause analysis. The role further entails comprehensive oversight of the entire production QA process, from battery cells to system integration and safety systems, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality BESS to project sites. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Quality Manager is instrumental in actively contributing to the ongoing enhancement of Sonnedix's quality and warranty requirements for BESS components and power plants, while also providing crucial support to commissioning activities. Desirable Skills:

Proven track record in BESS technology and adeptness in supplier quality management
Comprehensive understanding of BESS plant design and proficiency in related key components
Expertise in root cause analysis, coupled with hands-on experience in performance testing and warranty claim management
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, complemented by a proactive and well-organized approach
Fluent English, additional languages a plus (Spanish, French, Italian etc.)
