Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Publisher Ad Operations specialist to optimize the performance of their extensive network of publishers and drive the growth of their expanding project.
As a Senior Publisher Ad Operations professional, you will be essential in resolving technical issues for publishers and troubleshooting ad-related challenges across various websites. Your expertise will involve debugging web console errors and using your advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to enhance web integrations.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve publisher issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions to ad-related concerns.
Perform web console debugging to identify and correct errors affecting ad delivery and performance.
Collaborate with the Publisher TAM team to resolve integration, activation, and monetization challenges.
Provide data analysis and updates for publishers.
Work closely with the Publisher Sales team to analyze publisher performance and support account growth.
Identify and implement intelligent solutions to unlock additional revenue opportunities for publishers.
Apply HTML and CSS skills to improve ad placement and functionality within publisher websites.
Leverage expertise in Prebid and header bidding to optimize programmatic ad setups.
Share technical knowledge with the Technical Account Managers (TAM) team, providing training and guidance on resolving common technical issues.
Contribute to the team's knowledge base to enhance the speed and quality of issue resolution.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience, with a solid understanding of programmatic ads, digital media metrics, and web analytics.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting.
Experience in optimizing ad placement and functionality within publisher websites.
In-depth understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad formats, key performance indicators (KPIs), and technologies such as header bidding (SSPs, Prebid, Amazon TAM, Google Open Bidding).
A proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving start-up/scale-up environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming languages, particularly JavaScript, HTML, and WordPress.
Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience: Experience with digital marketing and advertising platforms (e.g., GAM, Prebid, AppNexus, Rubicon, Teads, Viralize, or similar systems).
Experience with data visualization tools like Google Data Studio, PowerBI, or Amazon equivalents.
Previous experience at a publisher sales house, trading desk, ad-tech company, or digital agency.
Experience in an Ad Ops role working with header bidding setups.
