And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our Hybrid Work Model.Job Description: Senior Project Engineer - AutomationLocation: Spain, France, Poland, Belgium - Location FlexibleKey Purpose:The purpose of this role is to support all technical engineering aspects in the delivery of automation projects within the Plant of the Future program.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all projects and associated processes within the scope of responsibility are carried out to the highest standards of Zero Harm and in compliance with all local and regional safety and environmental procedures and legislation.Ensure equipment and processes have the highest Zero-Defect capability.Ensure CHEP Process Engineering standards and procedures are applied in each project.Draft specifications and request for quotations required for the projects.Ensure all technical and operational data required to evaluate business case and supplier proposals is gathered and presented as required.Work with and support suppliers during design development phase of quotations to include layouts and all technical specifications required and ensure they are aligned with CHEP standards and meet business case objectives.Review and approve any suppliers request to deviate from standards.Draft Technical Papers required for capex approval process.Once approved manage all suppliers technical support requirement and monitor progress of design and development.Review and approve all drawings, Programs, Bill of materials, Functional Analysis and Risk Assessments proposed by the suppliers.Support third party subcontractor-invested projects, ensuring standard layouts and processes are specified and that Sub Contractor is supported in the installation and qualification of equipment.Lead the technical aspects of the Factory Acceptance Testing at the suppliers and ensure all safety, electrical and mechanical standards are met.Act as lead role to work with IT and Factory Management team to ensure all systems are specified and installed correctly.Support Project Manager during installation of equipment on site ensuring all local regulations and Health and Safety Legislation is adhered to.Lead all technical aspects of the Commissioning and Qualification processes.Support FMS team to ensure all required metrics and measures are in place and tested to enable monitoring of Verification period.Develop and deliver training and technology transfer process as required to allow site to run equipment safely and effectively.Collaborate with Process Reliability team to support site in achieving PR targets following installations.Work with wider Plant of the Future Team and Process Engineering teams to improve designs and innovation required for continuous improvement of the automation program.Experience and Skills:Bachelor's in electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.3-5 years Engineering management (development, implementation, and management of projects).3-5 years Project management for industrial projects implementation in plants.3-5 years Supervisory or Line Management experience.Machinery Safety and Risk Assessments.High level of Industrial Electrical and Mechanical Engineering knowledge (preferably in materials handling or FMCG manufacturing).Robotics and Vision systems knowledge.Knowledge of OEE and reliability systems and Continuous improvement tools CQV Process.AutoCAD for layout and machinery design.PLC programming knowledge.Fluency in English.Willingness to travel up to 25%.Preferred Education:Bachelors - Industrial EngineeringPreferred Level of Work Experience:3 - 5 yearsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are committed to developing a diverse workforce in which everyone is treated fairly, with respect, and has the opportunity to contribute to business success while realizing his or her potential.This means harnessing the unique skills and experience that each individual brings and we do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis.#J-18808-Ljbffr
