This is what you will do:The Senior Product Manager supports the Product Management Lead in the development of key strategies and tactics in alignment with Global strategy and tactics to achieve local business objectives.In partnership with Sales and Medical and other cross-functional partners, the Senior Product Manager develops and implements the local strategy and marketing initiatives to drive awareness of the disease and product to support the growth of the brand.You will be responsible for:Develop a deep understanding of the market and disease landscapeDrive development of strategic and tactical plans in alignment with Global strategyIdentify and communicate local market insights about opportunities and challenges and present local marketing interests and needs back to Global MarketingDevelop and implement marketing initiatives and material for personnel and non-personnel communication in close collaborationEnhance and drive an innovative multi-channel approach that supports key strategies and business opportunitiesLead the indication-specific congress planning and executionDrive and support indication-specific market research projectsAct as an efficient Project Manager in leading the product team and in planning and implementing marketing initiativesEnsure that projects are completed within the allocated marketing budgets and timelinesLead briefing of external Marketing agencies to deliver high quality material and activitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Medical, Regulatory Affairs and Finance as required to deliver marketing projects within budget and timelinesDevelop strong KOL relationshipsActively participate and foster an environment of cross-functional collaboration and practice sharing across all indicationsYou will need to have:Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in product management in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry or comparable businessExperience as a pharmaceutical sales representativeExperienced in managing marketing agenciesExperience in digital / multi-channel marketingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to structure and prioritize workload, demonstrate project management skills and high attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with a track record of result driven effectiveness as a cross-functional team playerAbility to motivate team members with a positive and constructive approach to business challengesStrong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office program suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OutlookGerman (native preferred) and English (fluent)Degree in life sciences or economicsWe would prefer for you to have:Desired experience in any of the following fields: Orphan drug business, specialty care or NeurologyMBA Qualifications desiredAstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
