We are seeking a highly analytical, results-driven Senior Product Manager - Monetization to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Product and working closely with the VP of Strategy and CEO, this role will play a critical part in shaping Luzia's monetization strategy while maintaining our user-first approach.What you will be doing in the first 30 days:You will immerse yourself in Luzia's product ecosystem, gaining a deep understanding of our user base and current metrics.
To do that you will need to get familiarized with our internal infrastructure (tech architecture, app architecture and flows), study all of our app metrics, diving deep (using SQL and Amplitude), and read user reviews, to get a full understanding of how Luzia operates.
Explore and validate a range of creative monetization opportunities, including but not limited to ads, games, and surveys, while remaining user-focused.You are a perfect fit if you:Ideal candidates have experience as founders or in zero-to-one product launches.
Have a strong background in ads, games, or free user monetization model, avoiding reliance on subscription or pay-per-use approaches.

You love staying up to date with the latest in AI—whether it's listening to podcasts, following new tech launches, or experimenting with the newest tools.

You're driven by curiosity and passion—about AI or anything else that excites you—and you're eager to learn and grow every step of the way.If you've integrated AI into your daily life and know how to turn curiosity into action, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:Define and drive Luzia's overarching monetization strategy, balancing short-term experimentation with a long-term vision that aligns with our mission to enhance user experiences.Start from a white canvas on monetization and balance the tradeoff between monetization and product quality.
ARPU retention will be your key metrics.Design, launch, and evaluate different monetization avenues for various monetization approaches and lead their implementation.
These don't necessarily need to involve the engineering team, as you can figure out low-code or no code-ways of running tests, but there will be engineering resources allocated to this.Proven ability to work with engineering teams to rapidly prototype and test monetization strategies.Identify and lead any platform connection (eg.
awin) projects needed to leverage ads, games, or surveys.Candidates must deeply understand the competitive pressures in the AI space, including the risks of commoditization and the importance of prioritizing product experience over technology.Develop and maintain robust product documentation and requirements that improve internal processes and help to provide scope for engineering development.Understand business needs and produce insightful analyses for stakeholders (CEO, Leadership, Growth, etc).Scale the team as monetization progresses.Requirements:+8 years experience with at least 5 years in app PM roles and 2 years in monetization teams.Experience launching products from ideation to execution.
Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and AI technologies.Deep understanding of ads, games or surveys as monetization models, and familiarity with tools and platforms for managing those ad/game/survey inventory connections.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and ability to influence.Experience gathering business requirements, defining product requirements and using business intelligence tools (SQL, Amplitude, Braze) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.Experience leading multiple projects with multiple stakeholders within tight timelines.Extreme attention to detail, design and UX.Genuine user-centric and data-driven mindsets.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full professional proficiency in English.
