.The Opportunity:We are in search of a Senior Product Manager to lead one of the most emerging capabilities, Workloads. Workloads provide customer teams with a comprehensive view into their capabilities, offering insights about the system's data, health of various components involved in the system, and information about the owning team. In summary, it is the ultimate capability teams use to keep all core components of distributed systems under control. We are looking for a person who has successfully delivered valuable experiences at scale with clear outcomes, knows how to collaborate with engineers, designers, executives, and enjoys working with customers.What You'll Do:Product Strategy: Drive Workloads capabilities based on customer and market insights, ambitious pressures, technical capability, and internal assets.Internal Leadership: Utilize the product strategy to align, energize, and lead engineering, UX, partners, and cross-functional teams. Communicate clear business priorities and customer imperatives, and work with the extended team to make key trade-off decisions. Lead internal and external product promotion, customer education and support, and sales strategies.Planning: Collaborate with Engineering to define a detailed, rolling 4-quarter product roadmap and ensure key releases align with the roadmap. Adjust the roadmap based on metrics, market forces, and changes in execution resources. Lead the business through the full product lifecycle - from requirements definition to delivery to end of life. Collaborate with other teams across the company, including Engineering, Design, Support, Marketing, and Sales counterparts.Customer Interactions: Proactively engage with prospects and customers to understand the problems they are trying to solve, build relationships, and lead product direction.Metrics and Research: Establish business metrics and key customer/market research questions to gather insights. Inform optimization or new product development based on research. Stay informed about key competitors and their strategies.Positioning: Highlight product strengths and propose messaging for product positioning. Stay updated on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Engage the team in this process.User Experience: Focus on improving the overall customer experience by prioritizing user needs in requirements definition. Collaborate with the UX and Engineering team to enhance the customer experience.Product Hero: Act as a key spokesperson for the business, communicating clearly across the organization and externally to position the product for success.
