You will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process, financial planning and analysis, management accounting and implementation of key corporate finance projects. You will partner with different internal and external stakeholders in different countries. You should be able to analyze the information in a detailed and critical way as this is relevant information shared with the Executive Committee.
What will you do?
Manage full life-cycle of the consolidated monthly closing:
Consolidation of the different legal entities
Support to local controllers
Ensure proper reporting as per the Group policies and aligned with the budget
Analysis of the monthly information and correction of deviations
Manage timelines
Analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepare reports and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
In conjunction with the budget owners, develop and prepare on time the rolling forecast, annual budget and strategic plans
Create financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Ensure objectives/deliverables are met on-time and within budget
Continuous process improvement (align, simplify and gain in efficiencies)
What do you need to know?
Previous solid experience in similar positions and background within Big 4 or similar is required.
In deep experience in corporate controlling within international organizations.
Good knowledge in Accounting Standards (IFRS) and consolidation rules
Familiar with tax filing procedures
Solid knowledge in IBM COGNOS or equivalent ERP
Expert on MS office (especially excel) and good knowledge on BI tools
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
Hands-on, roll up your sleeves attitude
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Fluent English
