We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated person to support our HR Services team that gives service to over 4400 employees and managers throughout 16 European countries through HR and payroll operations/administration, in close collaboration with outsourced payroll vendors and partners throughout Agilent.
Responsibilities Works with partners and vendors to ensure accurate, complete, timely and compliant delivery of pay and related internal and external reporting for Switzerland.
Processing monthly payrolls in accordance with the payroll cycle.
Ensuring accurate and timely payroll performance for assigned entities in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Accountable for preparation/provision of monthly payroll instructions to external payroll providers, monitoring results, and validating accuracy.
Coordination of Taxes/Social Charges, Pensions, and insurance payments.
Manages complex problem resolution with partners in HR, Finance, IT, and vendors.
Developing strong working relationships with external payroll vendors and internal departments.
Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy.
Ensuring compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines (New Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP)) (GDPR).
Demonstrate ability to maintain highly confidential information.
Develops and documents procedural improvements.
Stays current on legal and company requirements for HR and payroll processing for Switzerland.
Represent HR Services Switzerland in local and global projects.
May be responsible for development and/or delivery of training related to HR and payroll.
Train new team members on process, system and data flow.
Strong problem solving and technical skills coupled with confident decision making for enabling effective solutions leading to high customer satisfaction and low operational cost.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or Finance preferred.
Typically 6+ years experience in a payroll specialist role.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Fluent written and spoken French or German.
Other language skills are a plus.
Expertise in specific content area of Payroll and HR processes and systems.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot customer inquiries and work within tight deadlines.
Ability to support HR managers in multiple countries.
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and capability to work under pressure.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule.
