Job Description OVERVIEW: We are looking for a Network Engineer to join the IT Operations Team.
You will become part of an international company leading in this sector and will work with a great technical team with high experience in advanced technologies.
The team is responsible for the support of the company's network infrastructure and will play a key role in the deployment of IT services and implementation of new projects.
THE ROLE: How Will Success Be Evaluated?
Quality, accuracy, and speed in the analysis and resolution of requests reported by the second line of support.
Quality, accuracy, and speed in the implementation of tasks assigned by the line manager.
Quality and accuracy in incident reports.
Response in On-Call service.
Quality and performance in the implementation of new projects as a member of a team.
Quality in the creation of documentation.
Achievement of the objectives set by the line manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Design and administrate enterprise-level network.
Installation and maintenance of datacenter equipment.
Configuration and support of on-premises and cloud network infrastructure.
Infrastructure deployment with IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
Configuration and maintenance of the Monitoring and Syslog System.
Availability to perform punctual software and hardware maintenance work after hours.
Performing the On-Call support.
Support of the patching, provisioning, and configuration system tool.
Creation and maintenance of internal documentation.
REQUIREMENTS: Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSEC, and other protocols commonly used in enterprise networks.
Deep knowledge of general routing, load balancing, switching, and firewalling (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and F5).
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues like network performance issues.
Experience with site-to-site and remote client VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and zero-trust solutions.
Experience with Datacenter equipment (planning, installation, and maintenance).
Experience with monitoring and Syslog platforms (Zabbix, Grafana, Logstash, Kibana).
Strong network design skills, including the ability to design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of the organization.
Experience using public cloud providers - AWS/OCI.
Experience with Hardening standards.
Experience with DDOS protection standards.
Able to review network design and architecture documents.
Well-versed in network automation tools like Gitlab and techniques, including scripting or programming languages like Ansible and Python.
B2 English Level.
Excellent attitude while dealing with the client.
