This includes yield testing in the main growing areas in Iberia, disease screening, and other observation trials. You will also support other research testing activities in maize and sunflower during the season, including precision phenotyping and UAS activities to provide critical data for the local market as well as breeding programs in Europe.Your Challenge:Supervise, coordinate, plan and execute daily activities in maize breeding trials and nurseries.Plan and manage temporary workforce as required.Partner with our colleagues across the organization to participate in different international teams.Support maize testing network data collection to ensure high-quality data as required on EUSL experiment plan.Support and execute precision phenotyping activities including UAS operations for corn and other crops.Support agronomic management and operations for maize breeding activities in coordination with field operations team.Assess data quality for advancement and product positioning decisions.Ensure CAMS, Regulatory and safety procedures are followed in all processes.Location: Sevilla, SpainQualificationsTo Grow What Matters, You Will Need:Bachelor's or master's degree in plant science, Biology, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant breeding – experience in corn breeding will be a plus.Fluency in English (B2) and Spanish (Native), both written and spoken.Proficiency in using office software (e.G., Microsoft Office Suite) for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.In-depth understanding of plant physiology, plant breeding, and gold standard processes in research.Experience in supervising and managing temporary workers, with strong organizational and communication skills.Who Are We Looking For?Curious, bold thinkers who want to grow their careers and be part of a winning team
