Job Description We're currently hiring for Senior Java Developers focused on API & Microservices to work on key global enterprise projects across Brambles/CHEP.
You will be building software systems that have well-defined interfaces with a big focus on writing modular and reusable code that is focused on quality.
Key Accountabilities Understand business requirements and create plans accordingly.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Perform threat and risk assessments.
Design and develop Microservice systems with Java and Spring Boot framework.
Communicate and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders.
Security and API first mindset.
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
Perform unit and system testing.
Ensure applications are robust and reliable.
Experience Minimum of 4+ years' experience building microservices including: Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring framework.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with Spring Boot development.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Consuming AWS services such as API Gateway, ECS, Secrets Management, RDS, ElastiCache, SNS/SQS.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of code.
Fluency in English.
Experience with Unit testing, API testing, end to end/integration testing.
Design and develop microservices based architecture for applications.
Develop Microservices code based on architectural design from Technical Architects.
