Senior It Storage & San Administrator

From Robert Walters we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician in storage technologies, with strong knowledge in VMware and vSphere and NAS to join an international health company based in Barcelona.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our storage infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the performance, security, and availability of our critical systems.
Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and high availability.Administer and maintain virtualized environments using VMware and vSphere.Monitor system performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency.Perform data backups and restorations, ensuring data integrity.Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve infrastructure issues.Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in storage and virtualization.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation of infrastructure and operational procedures.Advise and train other team members on the use of storage and virtualization tools and technologies.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience of at least 5 years in managing storage solutions.Experience with performance monitoring and management tools.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.We Offer: Competitive salary and attractive benefits.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.Participation in challenging projects.Tipo de contrato: FULL_TIME
