We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in planning and managing IT infrastructure projects as part of an IT Transformation Programme.
Responsibilities: Ensure projects are delivered according to specifications, within the established timeline and budget, and at the expected quality level.Oversee all aspects of project coordination and delivery, including definition, planning, monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Manage, monitor, and deliver IT infrastructure projects, working closely with various stakeholders to define the scope, estimate resources, plan the budget, and establish governance mechanisms.Organise and manage all phases of the project to ensure timely completion.Set up delivery monitoring controls, and identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful outcomes.Assemble and coordinate project teams, assigning individual responsibilities.Prepare requests for proposals to select the necessary services and products for the project.Plan and oversee the dissemination of standard project communications and prepare decision-making materials for management.Create essential project management artefacts such as project charters, project plans, timelines, and various deployment and support plans.Ensure compliance with established policies and standards while fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.Experience: We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of seven years of experience as a Project Manager, leading complex enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects. Experience with IT Service Management frameworks and practices is advantageous, and PMP certification is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in using Jira for project management is essential, and experience working with geographically disparate teams is highly valued. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with effective communication skills.
A strong technical understanding of the infrastructure aspects of IT projects, including Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and M365, is necessary. An Agile certification is desirable, and the willingness to travel up to 30% of working hours is required.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Education: If you have an education background in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field, we'd like to hear from you! Other degrees related to technology or project management, such as Business Administration, may be considered.
