Job Summary The Senior Financial Analyst analyzes financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in decision making. This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and overall P&L management. This position oversees European markets and reports directly to the Regional Business Controller for Europe.
Role & Responsibilities Provide operational support to the Regional Business Controller and act as a Finance Partner to Regional & Local Leadership Track expenses and revenue vs. budget/forecast and reconcile variances, analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures Drive analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures, improving existing processes and techniques, recommending actions to improve profitability Determine cost of operations by establishing standard cost rates & related KPIs; maintain and improve consumption-based costing models; evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models Success Criteria Deliver on your personal, organizational and company goals Standardize & automate reporting, increase forecasting accuracy Set up and provide KPI's to the stakeholders that will benefit the growth of the business Drive change by introducing more efficient ways of finance-business partnership Organizational Alignment Reports to the Regional Business Controller; part of global FP&A organization Enlists the support of cross functional teams across the regions, product areas, and function What you offer Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field 3-4 years' experience in FP&A/Controlling. Technology industry preferred. Strong working knowledge of MsOffice, FP&A tools (Anaplan/Cognos or similar) & SAP/other accounting system Proven experience with analysing large amounts of financial and operational data, with ability to translate it into actionable insights Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards and data visualizations in PowerBI Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with effective relationship building and ability to influence change and improve process Full working proficiency in English Why SoftwareOne?
