Context of the Position : The main function of a senior lawyer with min 5 years of experience in commercial law is to provide specialized legal advice on commercial terms and conditions, as well as to review contracts, especially large contracts for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) or supplier contracts. This lawyer is also expected to have the ability to negotiate and draft commercial contracts effectively, protecting the interests of the Nextlane Group. Additionally, this person should have a solid knowledge of commercial law and be aware of the latest trends and practices in the industry. Your responsibilities: Reviewing and drafting terms & conditions for various legal agreements. Reviewing and negotiating contracts with OEMs and suppliers. Providing legal advice and guidance on commercial law matters. Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from all departments and all countries of Nextlane. Handling any legal disputes or issues related to commercial agreements, with the support of outside law firm when needed. What we are looking for: Languages: Spanish & English (at least C1 level in both, or higher). Technical Skills: Previous experience in a tech company and/or automotive sector is preferred. In-depth knowledge of commercial law and contract law. Experience with reviewing and drafting agreements. Familiarity with RFPs and supplier contracts. Proficiency in legal research and analysis. Experience with legal dispute resolution and litigation. English & Spanish are a must, and capability to draft and negotiate in English & Spanish. Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Curious and eager to learn various subjects.
