In turn, our competitive salaries, attractive benefits, and potential for career growth allow you to take on opportunity with confidence.Senior Claims Counsel with GermanDescription : As a Senior Claims Counsel, based in our Barcelona, Munich or Dusseldorf office, you will form part of a dynamic team of professionals, dealing with claims by partnerships, companies (commercial and FI) and D&Os; on the following types of policies: D&O; , Professional Indemnity/ E&O; , EPL, Crime, Cyber and Warranty & Indemnity.ResponsibilitiesReview notifications and claims and establish and maintain files for them in our claims systemPrepare coverage positions, explain and defend them vis a vis brokers / the clientMonitor the development of claims and where appropriate assign counsel and manage the litigationPrepare reports for Management with respect to reserves, case developments and various claim trendsSupport underwriting team by communicating to them claim trends and developments and assisting them in developing appropriate underwriting responsesAttend settlement conferencesRequirementsIdeally two to five years' experience handling claimsLaw studiesGerman native and fluent English speaker.
