Senior Buyer (Indirect Commodities)

A first-class automotive equipment and systems manufacturer specialising in fluid management and mechanisms, our client offers state-of-the-art industrial and technological expertise in applying and processing materials (plastics, rubber, metal) and mechatronic integration.Our client has 12,000 employees in more than 20 different countries.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: - Fully responsible about the management of his/her team of buyers.- Responsible about the Purchasing Strategy execution on his commodity; aligned with the GlobalPurchasing Strategy, processes and rules of the group.- For a dedicated Region and Material Group, based on guidance given by his/her Director or recommendation from Commodity Lead Buyer (CLB), the Buyer is fully responsible for managing his/her suppliers base from Start of Production until business end of life.- The Senior Buyer is responsible about the Operational Performance KPIs achievement, and supplier action plan follow up in case of deviation. - The Senior Buyer is in close contact with the CLB to ensure the Purchasing Strategy execution and Performance review.- The Senior Buyer is responsible about the Productivity Plan definition and execution with suppliers, in relation with product line teams and operations.- The Senior Buyer is responsible about the Budget definition, execution and reporting on his commodity.REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree reinforced by 5 years experience minimum in Purchasing in the manufacturing sector- Commodities experience: Building, IT, Intellectuals services, Maintenance, Transport...-English /French / Spanish Fluent:Candidate must be fluent in all languages-Able to travel in foreign countries-Team Player with excellent communication skills, listening, enthusiasm, perseverance, decision making- Leadership skills- Good IT skills: Office, SAPLocalization: Vigo / Contract type: Permanent / Not remote work#J-18808-Ljbffr
