To achieve this, we carry out rigorous selection processes that ensure it.We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with deep technical and power industry knowledge and experience in negotiating, bidding, and managing EPC transactions in the industry.Role description and responsibilitiesAnalyze the market to uncover opportunities and promote engineering, procurement, and construction services for utilities, developers, and infra funds, with a primary focus on Power related technologies and projects. Examples include:Gas based power plants: as a key for decarbonization and transition, experience on gas-based GT and CCGT technologies.Zero emissions power plants: including CCS solutions for gas power plants and renewables and circular technologies such as biomass and W2E.Assistant technologies for electrification of economies: grid assistance technologies for assisting the penetration of renewables such as inertial synchronous condensers, batteries, and thermal energy storage.Define TR's value proposition for each opportunity in conjunction with the Power BU Commercial Director.Engage with clients and maintain corporate relationships with key clients.Develop relations with key OEMs and maintain corporate relationships.Seek out potential partners that complement TR's capabilities and assist in market positioning.Establish TR's positioning, define the strategy, and support the bidding process, coordinating with other BDMs who provide complementary value (regional knowledge, service knowledge) and with the Power Proposals' Directors.Report all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through Salesforce.Background and experience+10 years of relevant experience.Proven track record as a commercial manager working in the energy/power sector.Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with power OEMs, utilities, infra-funds, and developers, with a keen understanding of market drivers, trends, and players.Strong commercial acumen with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong and durable client relationships.Highly strategic and analytical thinking.Passion and understanding of the importance that specific technologies (e.g., CH4 and H2 power generation and CCS) have in supporting the energy transition.Availability for frequent travel, mostly within Europe, America, and the Middle East.Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in industrial engineering. Relevant experience would be accepted in lieu of required education.
