The Senior Accountant Iberia reports to the Head of Accounting to delegate certain tasks due to a change in local structure and tasks arising.
Your Job
Review all accounting activities within Iberia, including preparation of the annual/quarterly/monthly FS.
Help in the optimization of accounting processes according to group policies.
Be responsible for the general ledger and all sub-ledgers.
Jointly manage relevant questions from internal departments, auditors, and tax authorities, as well as reporting activities for Iberian entities, following corporate rules.
Jointly supervise Iberian internal controlling activities (Budget, Headcount, IC transactions).
Responsible for financial instruments valuations and bookings, if required, and elaboration of ad-hoc reports.
Your Profile
Minimum five years of work experience in leading accounting roles (Renewables/Energy sector an advantage).
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration, or Economics.
Strong knowledge of accounting and tax law according to PGC (IFRS an advantage).
Proficient in accounting programs and experienced in the further development of an ERP system (Business Central an advantage).
High level of commitment, communication, and team skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Nice to Have
German or Portuguese would be an asset.
