Reporting to the Chief Platform Architect and being part of the Business Technology Team, this position will provide an opportunity to help execute our security vision. The Security Engineer focuses on ensuring the company's security by working directly with our security department, collaborating with our engineering department, and promoting good security practices.
You will be at the heart of dealing directly with employees who have security-related problems and aligning with the security team in their analytical tasks and day-to-day tasks
ResponsibilitiesExecute automatic security scans and workflows.Execute scripts to obtain and analyze periodic reports such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, Github, AWS, etc.Definition and implementation of the hardening of the laptops of the company via the MDM (Mobile device management)Perform investigations of the different applications used by the companyManagement of the awareness application of the companyManagement of Google Workspace: users, groups, mailing, security configurations, applications, etcDefinition, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Security Policies, Work Instruction, SOP, and any related documentsTalk to staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone/chat, to help set up systems or resolve Security issues.Security Incident managementGenerate security reports related to the ISO/ComplianceWorking on related tasks in the ticketing systemLogging the support queries of employeesOnboarding/Offboarding usersReviewing the software for compliance with company policy and licensing agreementsEssential maintenance in the AWS infrastructureResponsible with the Security Team for all the credentials of the company and the systems related to theseEnsuring that the daily security procedures are performed as per the documented processQualificationsMust have:Current student in computer science or a related fieldEnglish - full working proficiencyKnowledge of macOS/Linux system environmentsKnowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferable)Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in information securityNice-haveExperience in hacking labs and playing CTFsCertifications are preferred but not required.Experience in the automation of processes.Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and AnsibleSkillsFlexible and autonomous.
