WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
As the Scrum Master for Omnichannel, you will play a pivotal role in driving agile practices and ensuring the successful delivery of omnichannel initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, e-commerce, supply chain, and IT, to foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and effective project execution. Your expertise in Scrum methodologies and omnichannel strategy will be instrumental in enhancing our customer experience and achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple omnichannel development teams, providing guidance and coaching on agile practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with omnichannel goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, supporting teams in identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Remove obstacles and impediments to team progress, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Foster open communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and departments.
- Ensure the successful delivery of omnichannel initiatives on time and within scope and budget.
- Monitor and report on project progress, using agile metrics to measure team performance and project health.
- Implement best practices for quality assurance, testing, and deployment in an omnichannel environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in omnichannel technology and agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Scrum Master in the retail industry, with a focus on omnichannel projects.
- Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certifications.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience in Scrum and Kanban.
- Solid knowledge of omnichannel strategy and its impact on the retail customer experience.
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on servant leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in agile project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
