The Equity Capital Markets team primarily provides advice on how best to structure deals and then works with the client to execute the transaction.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:Supporting origination efforts of Equity Capital Markets by preparing marketing materials and executing transactionsConducting market readings, preparation of a company's equity story, investors demand analysis, timing considerations and preparation of credentials and rankingsPerforming high quality financial and valuation analysis, using standard methodologies for listed companies, preparation of valuation models, identification and ability to carry out a comparative analysis of comparable companiesCompiling Equity Capital Markets opportunities/trends, pitch presentations and relevant documentation for clients in different sectorsCoordinating with external professional parties and internal deal team members including Equity Syndicate, Equity Sales, Banking Coverage among othersCollaborating in the preparation of proposals to the Bank's risk committees and elaboration of internal budgets/analysis of business and pipelineEXPERIENCEMinimum 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking / Equity Capital Markets or comparable job related to complementary activities carried out in an equity research department, asset management, strategic consultant or auditing firmEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, with strong academic performance from a top tier national or international educational institutionMaster's degree in Finance desirableCompletion of, or enrolment in, a professional designation (e.g. CFA, ACA) preferredSKILLS & KNOWLEDGEImpeccable communication skills (both verbal and written) in English are required, fluency in Spanish and/or other European languages would be a plusHighly competent with the use of the main tools for the preparation of marketing materials and execution of transactions (PowerPoint, Excel) and capacity to leverage off broker research reports and databases with market information (Thompson Reuters, Bloomberg, Dealogic)Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skillsSelf-directed, highly motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to manage several assignments simultaneously and to assign priorities under challenging timetables and short deadlinesStrong attention to details with commitment to accurate and high quality work productAbility to effectively interact with senior professionals, peers, clients and relevant stakeholders in ECMOTHER INFORMATIONInterested in and knowledge of the capital markets, equities in particular, and possessing a vision of the markets and the major corporate and macroeconomic factors that condition its evolution.
