SUMMARY
The Consumer Market Leader owns and directs all of Peli's efforts in the consumer space. He/she formulates and implements initiatives to drive sales growth in the omnichannel consumer markets, developing a leading position in the wider EMEAI region. From an existing product portfolio perspective, he/she leverages both the heritage portfolio and brand recognition as well as the burgeoning product ranges. In terms of innovation, he/she acts as "the voice of the market" vis a vis the global product team to identify product features and overall product categories that allow us to enter new, appropriate market spaces.
JOB DUTIES
Creates and implements an omnichannel sales strategy to jump start Peli's presence in the Consumer space.
Develops direct relationships at key levels throughout the relevant channels (distributors and retailers alike), developing & communicating the strategy and creating support for Peli products within these channels.
Identifies heritage products that can be phased into collections to augment the value of the dedicated consumer portfolio and increase the attractiveness of the offering.
Works alongside the EMEAI D2C manager to develop a compelling online sales strategy leveraging the existing direct online sales platform as well as the appropriate marketplaces (Amazon etc).
In conjunction with the marketing teams worldwide creates and implements plans to increase brand presence, market share and sales growth across all channels.
Develops and maintains coherent price structures to reflect the product positioning in different markets, taking onboard global price directives.
Acts as the voice of EMEAI vis a vis the global product team (product management and engineering alike) to drive visibility on upcoming market opportunities.
Works alongside the product group to conceive and drive the product strategy to capture these upcoming opportunities.
Works closely with marketing and product management to fine tune the product range (products & packaging) to maximize its appeal in the various EMEA markets.
Evaluates and coordinates efforts with local teams when appropriate to optimize the existing commercial channels.
Co-ordinates communication of new products or product changes ensuring proper product and ordering data, product awareness and product stock availability.
Collects & analyses data and develops action plans to increase sales within channel.
Monitors on a continual basis (weekly) sales data.
Communicates trends and issues pertaining to sales / marketing initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned by Sales VP.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Suitable university degree.
Previous sales experience with relevant Consumer channels (7 to 10 years).
Territory or Channel Management Experience with demonstrated consecutive year-on-year sales growth.
Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective sales strategy.
Proficient in spreadsheet, word-processing, Salesforce and Presentation Software.
Creative thinker with ability to overcome obstacles, identify opportunities and create new approaches within market.
Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.
Strong people management skills.
Valid driver's license in the EU is required.
Travel required to adequately execute strategy with assigned accounts.

As Needed: Must be able to travel, nationally and internationally, as necessary.
