The impact you will have
As a Sales Representative, you will actively anticipate and exceed the needs of your customers and clients by offering them the best solutions, impacting both health and financial outcomes. By providing recommendations and education around Arjo's portfolio of solutions, you will contribute to supporting increased quality of life for residents, patients, and caregivers.
As the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
Providing sales expertise in dealing with internal and external customers and stakeholders, with the ability to overcome company challenges and client scrutiny to help build the business case to achieve the best outcome for both the customer and Arjo.
Being a resilient seller, driven with enthusiasm and hunger for success, along with the determination to consistently meet challenging targets and demands from both internal and external customers.
Identifying future opportunities for yourself and the team to support Arjo's growth plans, effectively using CRM systems to plan and follow up on your business leads.
Adapting styles and approaches as an effective negotiator to enable clients to relate to you, promoting the "value-added" services that Arjo offers.
Embracing change with patience and the ability to listen to fully understand the client's requirements, enabling you to adapt to change.
Proving yourself as a credible company representative through decisiveness and confidence.
Using your understanding of the corporate and commercial world alongside developing your specialist clinical product knowledge to maximize the benefit from time spent with the customer.

Maintaining customer relationships after the sale, ensuring that the customer receives an efficient after-sales service from the group.
Using research and insight gained into customer issues and opportunities as the basis for effective account and customer planning, driving effective decision-making and sales decisions.
Designing effective and innovative solutions within commercial constraints through collaborative selling techniques.
The skills you will need
Computer literacy; familiarity with information technology concepts, personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office applications.
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and exercising discretion in all business dealings.
Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of medical terminology, provincial funding knowledge by sector, and third-party payer claims preferably in the health care market.
Willingness to travel to attend scheduled business and corporate functions as required.
Valid driver's license.
Strong commercial and financial understanding.
Self-sufficient, enthusiastic, optimistic with a "Can Do" attitude and resilient.
Ability to question and challenge with self-criticism to learn from missed opportunities.
Ambitious with the willingness to "raise the bar" to enhance personal and team effectiveness.
Patient and tenacious with an eye for detail through a long sales "life-cycle."

Relevant Experience and Education:
Post-Secondary Education degree – BA or Diploma
5 years' experience of managing sales in a B2B environment, preferably in a regulated industry or an industry involving large tender and bid processes.
Background in managing long sales "life-cycle" processes.
Background in "consultative" selling, ideally in a group environment, requiring collaboration across different functions and areas of expertise.
Experience in customer relationship management.
Basic commercial understanding with the ability to analyze key financial information.
Experience of CRM systems and other sources to analyze data to understand customer needs.
Experience in the medical device industry or healthcare sales is a strong asset.
Experience in delivering solutions based on clinical outcomes or delivery of clinical services.
