Job DescriptionWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Intern to join the Act Second Ventures team in Barcelona.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales departments of multiple startups in our portfolio, with a primary focus on supporting Beauty Rep.
You will be involved in various sales activities, including lead generation, client outreach, and sales performance analysis.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, business development, and startup operations while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads for Beauty Rep and other startups in the portfolio.Client Outreach: Assist in reaching out to prospective clients through email, phone, and social media to generate interest and set up meetings for the sales team.CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information, ensuring proper tracking of sales activities.Sales Support: Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales collateral for client meetings.Market Research: Conduct research on target markets, competitors, and potential clients to support sales strategies.Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals.Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling meetings, organizing sales events, and other administrative tasks as needed.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, or a related field at a top university, or an MBA candidate at a leading business school.Strong interest in sales, business development, and startups.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce,...) is a plus.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.Ability to work on-site in Barcelona.Preferred QualificationsPrevious internship experience in sales, business development, or marketing.Familiarity with e-commerce and beauty industry trends.Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and take ownership of tasks.
