Role Location: Hybrid / Barcelona About the role: As a Business Development Manager for EMSE, you will be joining Gartner's fastest growing region operating at the forefront of Gartner's sales function, responsible for acquiring new clients for Gartner and managing and nurturing relationships with already existing clients. You will be given ownership for a specific territory targeting emerging tech providers in the DACH/Iberian/French or Italian market.
What you'll do: Identify and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients (members), leading the full sales conversation and negotiation before transitioning new clients to the account management team. Be aligned to one of Gartner's EMEA markets: DACH/Iberian/French or Italian market. Collaborate with the rest of the Midsize Enterprise Sales team to continue the development of best practices and new prospecting techniques. Work within a multicultural environment with various languages spoken, including: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Danish. What you'll need: Circa 0 to 4 years of sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in consultative, senior-level B2B sales or similar. A high level of commercial intellect, executive presence and sales acumen. A high level of drive for individual success, combined with a collaborative approach. Fluent/native in English + Spanish or German or Italian or French. Located in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
