About the Position
The Sales Application Specialist Acute Care Diagnostics (SAS ACDx) is a mixed role involving both sales and technical responsibilities. The main tasks include actively promoting and selling our products and solutions while monitoring the technical status of the instrumentation park, reagent stocks, and IT solutions. A special focus will be on the Central Lab and Clinical Areas such as Intensive Care Units, Emergency Departments, and Operating Rooms.
The SAS ACDx will provide our customers with solutions that adapt to their changing needs, fostering a relationship of trust that delivers value to both our customers and the company in the medium and long term.
Key Accountabilities
Achieve sales and commercial targets established by the company.
Provide application support.
Support laboratory organization improvement through technical advice and solution offerings.
Encourage cross-selling by providing product information and introducing cost/efficiency balanced tailored techniques.
Present our products and concepts to institutions, end-user groups, clinicians, and expert groups.
Create a network of trust within the organization and coordinate field visits with colleagues.
Organize instrument installations interacting with various departments (Logistics, Technical Service, Marketing) and perform product and service demonstrations.
Maintain training levels of users on analyzers and reagents and manage appropriate documentation.
Collaborate with the Key Account Manager and Business Unit in managing opportunities and risks.
Ensure service levels are maintained across different departments to reduce the risk of complaints.
Provide troubleshooting for technical inquiries.
Resolve product incidents at a technical level in coordination with HelpLine, Technical Service, and Product Managers.
Manage tenders including specification and profitability analysis, preparation of necessary documentation, and litigation support.
Provide first-level (remote and/or on-site) technical support to customer accounts regarding products, applications, and operations, assisting with system integration in laboratories.
Ensure compliance with the Ethical Code.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.
Experience: Experience in the IVD industry is desirable. Basic training or experience with Blood Gas is a plus. Comprehensive knowledge of Hemostasis or experience as a nurse or sales representative in ICU or Operating Room is a plus. Experience with viscoelastic testing devices (Rotem or TEG) will be considered an asset. Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room, Liver transplantation Operating Room, or any significant responsibility in bleeding and massive transfusions will also be considered a plus.
